HOW TO EMBED BACKGROUND MUSIC ON YOUR WEB SITE
The problem with embedding background music is that the different browsers out there have their own methods of implementing embedded music files.
For all versions of Netscape, as well as IE 3.0 and above, you can use the following code:

Hi!
I need some help with my computer, I normally can find the solution on the internet but for this problem nothing has helped. When i reboot my computer[I am running Windows ME ] i get a pop up window that says "MSSCRIPTCONTROL::UNKNOWN ERROR" exactly like that but without the quotes of course. I press okay and everything loads as normal and my computer seems fine, its just annoying. I've tried all the solutions on the internet that I could find and they either 1. dont apply to my exact situation or 2. dont work! so I came here in hope of some help. I ran ad-aware several times and it got rid of a bunch of spyware and I even downloaded and ran spy-bot S&D which got rid of a few more things. I've cleared out my cookies folder and temp folder, cleared history and even defrag and ran scan disk and i'm still having this problem. :( I checked my programs list and nothing new seems to be installed, I've checked my program files and nothig new there either. I dont know what to do, can someone help me? Thanks so much in advance
~Amy~

I don't have a definite answer for you but I found this very old item after Googling your error message; http://www.guninski.com/scractx.html
Have you got all the patches for IE? You might want to consider disabling Active Scripting and/or using another browser. Here's a link to an article about how to make IE less dangerous to use (I don't know if it's been updated to take into account the changes SP2 has made to IE[ if you're an XP user]);http://www.guninski.com/scractx.html
You might also want to think about posting a HJT log;http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?showtutorial=42 Read this tutorial carefully and be sure to follow the advice about putting HJT in its own folder and NOT fixing anything until you have got some advice from one of the experts here.

[ANOTHER THREAD, URL LINK BELOW 3RD MSG]
Go to START | RUN
Type in: "msconfig"; Hit "OK"
Go to the Start-up TAB and post here what entries are there.
Is there anyway to copy what is in the Start Up Tab box. I did find a suspicious box checked titled "Scriptblocking". Should I uncheck it? Do you want me to list every box that is checked in the Start Up Tab? I am a novice at this. Thanks for your help. Weldon
--------------------------------
The only Start-Up items you really need are:
ScanRegistry / TaskMonitor (only if you use it to schedule a task)/ SystemTray / LoadPowerProfile / Your antivirus program
There are literally thousands of items that can be in a start up menu, and BTW: they are all listed Here
(http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php?filter=&count=50&offset=0)
Yes just list ones that are checked besides the ones that I listed above.

Hi weldonkm, Murf is correct however dont uncheck anything yet.
Your problem is caused by malware running on your PC. Go here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/download.php?hijackthis1977.zip) and download the latest version of Hijack This to a new folder on your drive, unzip it and click on scan. Most of the files listed will be harmless and/or required so do not make any changes, just click on Save Log, copy it and post it back in this thread.

Go to your Task Manager and END TASK the process RTCRTP.exe. Try go to start, run, type msconfig uncheck RTCRTP Then do a search for that file and delete it. You might have to

This error can be caused by Adware and various exploits that are tried against your computer's security. My guess is that the script whose functionality you like has some not so nice hidden parts that you wouldn't like if you could really see what they are doing.
I just read a few of the sites returned on Google and there are several "solutions" that range from running an Adware detection application through turning off active scripting in the IE browser.

"eBlocs.com" is a bad-rep outfit (claims to remove spyware)
{This is old news, but posting in case some detail is hidden in the chatter:]
Click the Start button. * Click Run. * Type msconfig in the Open box and click OK. * The System Configuration Utility window should appear. * Click the Startup tab. * Uncheck any program that you feel is unnecessary. If you later find that you need one of these disabled programs to start automatically, repeat these steps and check the necessary program. * NOTE: Many programs install several entries for various sections of the program. This is especially true for anti-virus software. NOTE: Dell recommends that you keep your Antivirus software enabled, as well as critical operating system and Dell installed items; such as ScanRegistry, TaskMonitor, PCHealth, SystemTray, LoadPowerProfile (may appear twice,) *StateMgr, BayMgr, DadApp, CPortPatch, CreateCD, Motive Monitor, Mad.exe, and RX(User). If you are unsure of the functionality of a specific item, Dell recommends that you leave this item enabled and do not remove it from startup.
After completing this task, click Apply.
Click OK.
The system will prompt you to restart.
Click OK.
Hope it works for you too!
